“The Art of Chart Reading” by Lawrence Chan is a pretty decent book, but too verbose for those who expected to be “Chart Reading”.

Another thing I found lacking in this book is the use of more technical analysis, several chart analyses rely on the subjectivity of the author. In several charts I noticed that the author “sees” the “Wedge” pattern all over the place, and even for bizarre wedge formations.

Another thing that I cannot agree with is the “preferred” pattern is the 1-2-3… The way that is shown will lead to traders to wait too much to enter in a trade… There are better ways to do that.
