MIDAS Technical Analysis – A VWAP Approach to Trading and Investing in Today’s Market – by Andrew Coles
MIDAS Technical Analysis, A VWAP Approach to Tdading and Investing in Today's Market - by Andrew Coles
2012, 464 pages, by Andrew Coles
The first 80 pages seem promising, but the book “MIDAS Technical Analysis – A VWAP Approach to Trading and Investing in Today’s Market” started to become biased and too verbose. There was too much discussion about the differences between VWAP and MIDAS, and the final result is: MIDAS averages are just f*cking anchored VWAP ones, which is why they are different! We don’t need pages and pages to prove this single and obvious point!
Another very annoying and frustrating thing is that several charts were cherry-picked. Even those that present the VWAP/MIDAS band don’t show where it was anchored! Absurd!
So, I stopped reading this book around page 90 because, for me, the credibility of this book is sh*t. You cannot do this to your audience! But, as I always say, Wiley is the Hanna-Barbera of books out there…
